Autumn/ Apple Celebration Day 25th September 2022

On Sunday 25th September we will be having an Autumn / Apple Celebration Day. We will also have an opening ceremony at 12.00pm for our new Wildlife Hub.

Time – 10.00am to 5.00pm

Schedule of Events

12.00pm – Grand Opening of the Wildlife Hub by Linda Albutt.

1.00pm – Talk and Q&A in the Bryan Mayer Pavilion on Heritage Apple Trees by Andrew Howard of the Heritage Fruit Tree Company.

2.00pm – Bee Keeping Demo and Talk on Beekeeping with Zdenek Valkoun in the Wildlife Hub.

3.00pm – Talk and Q&A in the Bryan Mayer Pavilion on Heritage Apple Trees by Andrew Howard of the Heritage Fruit Tree Company.

4.00pm Apple Cake Baking Competition Tasting and Judging by Zdenek Valkoun – Winners to be announced afterwards.

4.00pm – Scarecrow Competition Winners to be announced.

Music all day on the Tearoom Lawn with Dave Ball.

A selection of stalls will be in attendance on the day.

Places available – 50 per session

Talks are free of charge – Normal entry fees to the Garden apply £10 adults, £2 child aged 5-17, 0-4’s and members free of charge.
