About the Event

Learn tips and techniques for using coloured pencils on this full day workshop. Suitable for artists of all abilities, we’ll work on how to achieve fine details and how to layer with coloured pencils.

We’ll also work through, step-by-step, the importance of base layering and how to blend.

Hosted by the Dorothy Clive Gardens in Shropshire, an intimate and informal garden located close to both the Shropshire and Cheshire border. Lunch is provided by their on-site tearoom, with refreshments provided throughout the day in the Pavilion.

Terms and Conditions

Full payment is needed to secure a place on the workshop.

The payment is non-refundable, unless the workshop doesn’t go ahead for any reason. In the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled, your booking fee will happily be refunded or transferred to another workshop of the same price.

However if you are unable to attend the workshop, you may of course send someone in your place. Just let me know that person’s name before the workshop so I can welcome them to the class.

Depending on the venue, there are a different number of places available for each workshop. Typically there’s a minimum number of people needed for each class to run too. In the event of there not being enough people booked onto the workshop it will unfortunately have to be cancelled, but I’ll give at least 72 hours notice and you’ll have the choice of booking onto another date or to receive a full refund.

Refreshments, including tea/coffee, will be provided at all workshops. For all day workshops you’ll also be provided with a light lunch, unless stated within the description. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements please get in touch, although I cannot unfortunately guarantee that any food provided will be allergen free as it is often provided by a 3rd party or the venue.

Unless stated, it’s likely that all the materials will be provided for you. The description will let you know if there’s anything you need to bring.

Please make sure you allow plenty of time to travel in case of any delays. You’re welcome to arrive 15-20 minutes early for a workshop to settle in for the day.

Workshops are aimed at adults only, unless the description states otherwise.

Some of the venues are only accessible via stairs and unfortunately are not wheelchair friendly. If you need more information, please get in touch.
