No experience of working in oil paint necessary
Brief outline of programme:
You will learn how: to mix colours effectively, use mediums and additives to achieve a range of effects.
Working in the landscape to produce a number of studies and a final landscape painting.
The workshop will focus on technique/s, composition, tonal and spatial understanding.
Preparation required:
Old clothes or apron to wear. You will need kitchen roll/s or old rags (the more the better).
Bring your own: sketch pad/paper and drawing materials (these are not essential)
Included : Canvas paper or board, oil Paints, oil brushes, mediums and pallets etc.
Lunch is not included, there is an excellent cafe on site, with a wide range of good quality food and drinks or bring a packed lunch. Tea/ coffee and biscuits, throughout the day.
