Opening Times & Admission

GARDEN OPEN FOR EXERCISE & MENTAL WELLBEING               UPDATED 05.01.2021

We would like to let you know that we plan to offer the Garden to be used for exercise and mental wellbeing during the lockdown period and the Garden will open every day from 10am to 3pm. The garden is open for you to visit at your own leisure during these hours, should numbers start to increase we will introduce a booking system to ensure everyone is able to visit safely. If there are any changes to Government advice and we are not allowed to open we will close the gates.

Please be aware that the Glasshouse, Tearoom and Gift Room are closed in line with Government guidelines. And also please ensure you observe Government guidelines in terms of travel to and from us and social distancing. 

In these difficult times and in lieu of entry payment donations would be very gratefully received. A donation box will be situated by the Bryan Mayer Pavilion. 

When visiting please be aware of ongoing works in the Garden on days when we are normally closed over the Winter period.

 

High Season

15th March 2021

Garden opening times are as follows;

  • Monday:        10am – 5.30pm
  • Tuesday:        10am – 5.3.0pm
  • Wednesday:  10am – 5.30pm
  • Thursday:     10am – 5.30pm
  • Friday:           10am – 5.30pm
  • Saturday:      10am – 5.30pm
  • Sunday:         10am – 5.30pm

 

Dogs on leads are welcome in the garden however we do not allow dogs in the Tearoom.

 

Low Season

1st November 2020 to 14th March 2021 

Garden opening times are as follows;

  • Monday:          10am – 3pm
  • Tuesday:          10am – 3pm
  • Wednesday:    10am – 3pm
  • Thursday:        10am – 3pm
  • Friday:              10am – 3pm
  • Saturday:         10am – 3pm
  • Sunday:            10am – 3pm

Please read the notice above regarding opening during the Covid period and observe Government guidelines in terms of travel and social distancing.

The Tearoom and Gift room are closed until further notice in line with Government Guidelines. The children’s play area is also closed.
