Step back in time and join us for a special Vintage Day at Dorothy Clive Garden, with traditional entertainment, fascinating wartime history and garden games throughout the day.

Timetable

11:00- 11:45  Dorothy Clive Choir & Hannah Grace – Olive Barn 

Join our very own Dorothy Clive Choir and resident musician Hannah Grace in the Olive Barn for vintage classics !

12:00pm – Trent River Big Band – Olive Barn 

Enjoy the sounds of the Trent River Big Band as they bring classic big band favourites to life in the beautiful setting of the Olive Barn. Sit back, relax and enjoy an hour of live music, with a fantastic selection of vintage-inspired tunes and timeless favourites.

1.00pm – Green Man Morris Dancers in the Woodland Pavilion 
Enjoy a lively performance from the Green Man Morris Dancers, bringing traditional music and dance to the Garden.

2.00pm – Emma Spenser: The Land Army & ‘Dig for Victory’
Join Emma Spenser for an interesting talk exploring the Women’s Land Army and the ‘Dig for Victory’ campaign during the Second World War.

Throughout the Day – Traditional Garden Games
Have a go at a selection of traditional garden games and enjoy a day of vintage-inspired fun for all ages.
