Situated on the borders of Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire there are stunning views of the surrounding countryside in this magical setting. Marriages and civil ceremonies can be held outdoors in our beautiful 12 acre hillside garden, as well as inside our lovely Bryan Mayer Pavilion.
We are very flexible with arrangements as every wedding is tailored to suit each individual couple and we can offer the opportunity for any of the following for your day:

We are very fortunate to have several licensed venues within the garden where you are able to legally marry.
The Belvedere Pavilion and lawn are hidden away at the top of the garden with wonderful countryside views where your ceremony will be held outdoors. We will arrange for all seating for your guests for the ceremony and can seat up to approximately 150.
If you are looking for an indoor venue we have the Bryan Mayer Pavilion which can seat up to 70 guests for the ceremony.
For an intimate ceremony of up to 10 guests we are also able to offer the Glasshouse.
We have many options available for you to host your wedding reception here at Dorothy Clive Garden.
For an intimate reception of up to 15 people we are able to offer a small marquee or “Little Hat” on the lower tearoom lawn. Set amongst flowerbeds with views over the garden it is at the heart of the garden.
Receptions for up to 40 people we are able to offer the Mayer Pavilion for a sit down meal for you and your guests for your reception.
Our super in house catering tea are able to offer the choice of a “Wedding Afternoon Tea” or “Rustic Wedding Buffet” or you are welcome to hire your own caterers.
If you are looking for a venue to have a larger reception, we have a very generous garden paddock lawn which is ideal for you to site a marquee or tipi on for your reception and all of your guests.
We include 3 days hire of the venue so you and your suppliers are able to set up and clear away and have plenty of time.
Any of these reception options can be hired on their own or as part of arrangements along with a ceremony.

Sal’s Caterers was established in 1993 following Sally’s attendance at Winkfield Cordon Bleu College near to Windsor. Sally then had many years working for large organisations in London, catering for directors lunches and corporate events. Following this, Sally returned to Staffordshire, where she originated from, and it was here that she decided to begin her own company.
Sally is passionate about every event, she is the sole point of contact and able to take time out to discuss the details.

I’m a very experienced classical guitarist who has played in a lot of weddings and corporate events as well as playing professionally as a soloist in classical music festivals. I trained at Trinity College of Music in London.
I can offer repertoire that covers light classical pieces, Spanish music as well as instrumental arrangements of popular songs. I am also happy to meet couples and play a bit if that helps.
