We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded Silver in the Enjoy Staffordshire Tourism and Good Food Awards 2022 in the Small Visitor Attraction of the Year category.
Due to work taking place in our Tearoom refreshments this Friday 25th February, Saturday 26th February and Sunday 27th February will be served in the Bryan Mayer Pavilion.
There will be a limited menu of soup, oatcakes, cake and drinks.
Please note that refreshments will be served on disposable plates, cups and cutlery.
Cash payment is preferred.

The Tearoom will be closed to the public on Sunday 12th and Sunday 19th December when we will be hosting our pre-booked Christmas Events.
As the evenings start to draw in we have now gone to our Winter Opening hours. As of this week we are CLOSED Monday to Thursday and OPEN on Friday, Saturday and Sundays only.
The gardens open at 10.00am and the gates are locked at 16.00pm
Our Tearoom and Gift Room open at 10.00am and close at 15.30pm
Entry price throughout the winter is;£5.00p.p for adults.
£2.00p.p for children aged 5 – 17 years.
Free 4 years and under and members.
Please make your way to the Tearoom on arrival to pay for your entry and to receive a map of the garden to help you explore.

As you will be aware the law mon compulsory wearing of face covering changes on 19th July 2021. We believe that we have kept both staff, volunteers and visitors safe throughout the pandemic with our precautions and procedures so we intend to continue as before.
Please continue to wear a mask inside the Tearoom and Gift Room, and all other indoor areas, sanitise your hands and maintain a 2m distance. We will continue to do the same.

Are you interested in Gardening? would you like to help out and learn new skills? On Friday 26th March at 1.30pm to 3.30pm our Head Gardener and Curator will be conducting a Garden Tour for those who are interested in becoming a Garden volunteer. This will be to explain what we do and how we do it and to answer any questions that you might have about volunteering. Please assemble at the Walk and Talk meeting point near the entrance to the Quarry. We look forward to seeing you
This Mother’s Day the Tearoom will be offering a Dorothy’s Picnic for £10.75 per person. The Picnic consists of a sandwich, one of our famous freshly baked Dorothy Clive scones with jam and clotted cream and a choice of tea or coffee.
Why not treat Mum to a Dorothy’s Picnic at the Garden. The Garden is open from 10am to 4pm. Entry is £5 adults, £2 child aged 5-17, 0-4’s and members are free.

Feel Good Garden
As an RHS Partner Garden the Dorothy Clive Garden is joining with the Royal Horticultural Society, Britain’s biggest gardening charity, in asking the nation to choose the RHS Partner (Feel Good) Garden of 2021
We know visiting us is a great way to lift your mood and leave you feeling good. Exercise and connection with nature have been shown to have very positive effects on health and wellbeing and that’s why the RHS has made Feel Good gardens its theme for 2021.
So, if your visit to our garden has made you feel good, please let us know, and, when voting opens in August, please take a moment to vote for us.
Whether you’re a plant expert or just love getting out in the fresh air; a walk in a garden is one of life’s great pleasures, a great way to brighten up the day and get you feeling good.
