About The Dorothy Clive Garden
A charitable trust. The garden is open to the public throughout the year with reduced opening hours through the winter months. There is a Tearoom, Giftroom and 12 acres of garden catering for over 30,000 visitors throughout the year.
Job Purpose
Working on behalf of The Dorothy Clive Garden as part of the Tearoom team to provide an efficient and effective cleaning service, ensuring high standards of cleaning are delivered and maintained. A great role for somebody who takes a pride in their work and is looking to be valued as an important part of the team
Job Role
· Cleaning tasks to include general cleaning, toilet cleaning, window cleaning and other related tasks
· Use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
· Following the required specification to ensure all tasks are completed
· Following Health & Safety procedures
. Skills/Experience (Preferred but Not Essential):
· Capable of carrying out the physical aspects of the position.
· Good interpersonal skills providing a great service to the customer
· Focusing on a ‘one team’ approach assisting other service lines when required
· Following through with any issues identified

We had a very successful Easter Plant Fair Sunday saw a record number of 1700 visitors with 700 on Monday. It was a very busy day at the Garden. Thank you to all those who came along.
Our Tearoom will be closed this Sunday 19th March as we host our Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea Event. However, Tea, Coffee and Cake will be available at the Tearoom hatch. Our Pavilion will also be open for visitors to sit in. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
The Garden is closed today 10th March due to weather conditions we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
We are looking for gardening volunteers to help keep our Garden looking beautiful for our visitors.
Do you have a few hours to spare? Are you interested in gardening? (not essential).
If you would be interested in helping out we will be holding a volunteer social event in our Tearoom on Wednesday 8th March at 11.00am.
Why not come along for a cup of tea and a cake, chat to other volunteers and find out how you can help out.
